An investigation is being conducted by the Door County Sheriff’s Department in connection with the reported robbery of a 55-year old Racine man in Egg Harbor over the weekend. The Sheriff’s Department and an emergency services crew were dispatched to the village at 2:38am Saturday. The Racine man had left a local business on foot and was confronted and attacked by an unknown suspect. He was injured by the assailant who took several items of value and left. Family members found the injured party who was taken to Ministry Door County Medical Center where he was treated and released. The Door County Sheriff’s Department has interviewed several witnesses.
