The Ridges Sanctuary has flourished over the years because of the support of people who were willing to make an investment, large or small, in the environmental preserve near Baileys Harbor. Now comes an opportunity to maximize the potential of a donation to the organization’s capital campaign ”Bringing Nature To Life.” Anonymous donors have set up a fundraising challenge that will match, dollar-for-dollar, all donations and pledges up to $350,000 received between now and December 31st. Multi-year pledges of up to three years are welcome and there is no upper limit on the size of a single gift that will be matched. To date, the “Bringing Nature To Life” campaign has raised $2,660,170 in gifts and pledges, over 75% of the 3.5 million dollar goal.
