With just 38% of the population eligible to give blood & just a fraction of eligible donors actually donating, the American Red Cross is asking those who can to give blood more often. To donate blood, you need to be 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds & be in good general health. The Red Cross will be in Sturgeon Bay Monday & Tuesday to conduct a blood drive at Saint Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. All types of blood are needed to insure a reliable supply for patients. The hours of operation are Monday, from noon to 6PM & Tuesday from 9AM to 3PM. saint Peter’s Lutheran Church is located at 108 West Maple Street in Sturgeon Bay.
