The American Red Cross will be in Door County this week for a 2-day blood drive at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sturgeon Bay. The Red Cross is hoping for a good turnout Monday and Tuesday because donations are needed to maintain adequate blood supplies. All types of blood are needed, and anyone at least 17 years of age, in good physical health and weighing 110lbs or more is eligible to donate blood.
The blood drive Monday will Run from Noon to 6pm. On Tuesday, blood donations will be accepted from 9am to 3pm. Saint Peter’s Lutheran Church is located at 108 West Maple St in Sturgeon Bay.
