There was a sudden power outage across much of Sturgeon Bay’s east side Wednesday morning. At almost 7:45AM, the power went out. Our WDOR broadcast was halted for a short while, and some phone lines were out as well. Sturgeon Bay Utilities General Manager Jim Stawicki says it was a minor issue for properties fed off the Michigan Street circuits…
SBU has scheduled a contractor to come in and repair the issue, and Stawicki says the current service configuration should hold sufficiently until then…
And the lights did go on as power was restored to all affected SBU customers by just after 8:15AM.
