Positive Resolution to Case of Missing Woman

There was a positive resolution to the report of a missing woman said to be suicidal in Sturgeon Bay over the weekend. The 43 year old city woman reportedly sent an email to a friend in Washington state indicating that personal problems were getting to her & she didn’t want to go on. The friend contacted Sturgeon Bay authorities who conducted a search, including the woman’s apartment, with negative results. During the search, officers contacted family members who said they were aware of the email. At about 9:15PM Sunday, contact was made with the missing woman at an apartment close to where she lives. She was fine & not suicidal. An evaluation was conducted by the department of community programs before she was allowed to return to her home.
