The Wisconsin Builders Association recently held their Celebration of Housing event in Wisconsin Rapids, and at this event they announced the winners of this year’s Badger Craftsman Awards, including the Best New Single-Family Homes, Best Single-Family Development, and, Best Remodeling Projects. For the 2nd year in a row, Sturgeon Bay’s Port-Side Builders received the award for Best New Home Design and Construction, $500,000 to $750,000 category. Members of the association across Wisconsin submit their projects in a wide range of categories which are then voted on by members and the public. This year, over 4,400 votes were cast during the one-month voting period. Port-Side Builders controller Peter Kerwin was at the conference and received the award on behalf of the company.
