Doug & Terry purchased their winning raffle ticket at Fall Fest in Sister Bay. Doug, who is State Representative Garey Bies’ half brother, teased his wife at the time that they didn’t need to put new tires on his van because they already had a new car. The Northern Door Children’s Center raffle ticket sales took a hit this year when the State Gaming Commission told the organization that tickets could only be sold on a face to face basis.
