What would you do in the aftermath of a shooting at your shop, your workplace, your school? A special program on a community response to a mass shooting incident will be presented at NWTC in Sturgeon Bay Monday, from 6 – 9pm. The program, featuring NWTC instructor Matt Secor, is co-hosted by Sturgeon Bay Police and the Door County Sheriff’s Department.
Sturgeon Bay Police Chief Arleigh Porter says the program is the outgrowth of a class he and other emergency service professionals attended in Madison. Because there are so man variables in this type of incident, there will ban extended question and answer session to cover various scenarios at Monday’s meeting.
