Door County Administrator Ken Pabich has announced a new face masking requirement for county government facilities. Starting Wednesday, it will be required that face masks be worn in all Door County Government buildings, given the recent recommendation from the CDC . Door County is now in the “substantial” transmission classification for COVID-19. They have issued this mask guidance to maximize protection from the new Delta variant and to prevent possibly spreading it to others in the community. This requirement in our county government facilities will be in place until our COVID numbers drop back down into the “moderate” level for a sustained period of time or until further guidance is issued by the CDC.
