A Madison man was injured Friday after being struck by a car while taking pictures on Michigan Street in Sturgeon Bay. Fifty five year old Robert Wydra was in the middle of the street & not in the crosswalk while photographing Michigan Street, near Second Avenue, when he was struck by a car driven by 63-year old Nancy Lacrosse of Sturgeon Bay. Lacrosse said she didn’t see Wydra when she pulled out of the Citgo gas station & onto Michigan Street. Wydra said the accident was his fault & he shouldn’t have been standing in the middle of the road. He was able to walk off the roadway under his own power & was checked over by police & emergency personnel.
