The Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department & the Wisconsin DNR are investigating an accidental self inflicted gunshot injury from Saturday morning. The incident happened just before 10AM in the Town of Franklin. The DNR, County Rescue & Franklin First Responders also responded to the scene. The 41 year old man was removed from the scene by an ATV & treated prior to being transported to a Green Bay medical facility with what is being reported as a non-life threatening injury to his lower leg.
The incident remains under investigation by the Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department & the DNR.
