An electronic recycling day will be held Saturday at the Kewaunee High School parking lot. The event is being put on by the Kewaunee PR Committee, with the help of Cyber Green. The event will be held rain or shine from 8AM to 1PM. The recycling day gives the community a chance to bring in unwanted electronics & appliances & have them properly disposed of. The only items that will require a charge will be televisions & computer monitors because those items contain phosphates & lead. A charge of $10 will be applied to screens under 30 inches, & a charge of $20 will be applied for screens over 30 inches.
The Kewaunee PR Committee will also be holding a brat, burger, booyah & bake sale as part of the event. To learn click for the Kewaunee PR Committee’s web site.
