A public informational meeting and celebration in honor of the grain elevator, formerly on Sturgeon Bay’s west side waterfront has been set for Saturday, March 9th at the Union Supper Pub. Attendees will hear a brief history of the more than 100-year old structure and have the opportunity to meet with representatives of the firms that expect to collaborate on the restoration project for the grain elevator. James Dallman of La Dallman, contracted for architectural services, will be joined by Jeffrey Beane of Silman, in charge of structural engineering services and Michael Till of Michael J. Till Associates which will provide construction management of the project. The event is expected to begin at 3PM on March 9th.
