Families are encouraged to attend the program on Saturday & take a stroll through the public areas & see the cat colonies & view the dog kennels. All 19 Door County municipalities send their homeless, stray & lost dogs & cats to the shelter, located on County PD, just off of County Highway C, across from the Cherryland Airport. The ribbon cutting is scheduled for noon at the new shelter.
