The collection of garbage & recyclables in Sturgeon Bay will be affected by the observance of Christmas Sunday. Because city workers have Monday off, the collection schedule will slide down one day from the normal schedule. In other words, Monday’s refuse & recyclables will be picked up on Tuesday, Tuesday’s on Wednesday & so on. Plastic, glass & tin materials will be collected next week. All garbage & recyclables should be on the curb no later than 7AM on the collection date. It should also be noted that there will be no collection on Monday, January 2nd. Once again, all routes will be delayed by one day from their normal schedule . Paper & cardboard recycling will be collected that week.
