One of the points of pride in Door County is the historical village at Crossroads At Big Creek in Sturgeon Bay. Now known as “Heritage Village”, the collection of structures reflecting life in the county from 1890 to 1910 has been around, in one form or another, for 20 years.
Still, there’s feeling that more people should be visiting the complex. Dan Olson, who coordinates activities at the village, says the effort to capture a larger audience for the village includes the placement of an information sign near “Crossroads”…

There’s no cost to visit Heritage Village and the Door County Historical Society has seen to it that there will be many activities planned for the complex in the weeks ahead.
