Habitat for Humanity plans to dedicate its 35th home in Door County with a celebration at 5PM Thursday at 725 East Galley Place in Sturgeon Bay. The family, community leaders, habitat staff & volunteers will gather to commemorate the completion of the organization’s latest dwelling. The public is invited to attend the ceremony, speak with the family & tour the home. The October 17th dedication is, on part, the result of a new partnership between the local habitat chapter & Wells Fargo. In August, eight employees of the financial institution helped to paint, landscape & build a storage shed at the site. In addition, a grant of $15,000 was received through a national partnership between Wells Fargo & Habitat for Humanity.
