Found Female Body Identified

The Menominee, Michigan Police Department has announced the identity of the female body found in the Bay of Green Bay near Little Strawberry Island this past Wednesday. The deceased has been positively identified by the Brown County Medical Examiner’s office as 42 year-old Lisa Janine Pipp of Greendale, Wisconsin.

The Menominee Police Department reports that Ms. Pipp went missing back on January 13th when she walked away from a vehicle during an argument on the frozen bay in that area. Extensive search efforts were made by multiple agencies over the following weeks. It wasn’t until this week Wednesday when her body was found in the bay near Little Strawberry Island. The Brown County Medical Examiner’s office announced Friday that an autopsy with scientific identification procedures confirmed the body to be that of Ms. Pipp. They also report that the preliminary autopsy findings show no signs of foul play.
