Sturgeon Bay firefighters will be at the Door County Historical Museum Saturday, showcasing two fire trucks & equipment. Visitors to the museum at the corner of 4th Avenue & Michigan Street will be able to man the hoses, try on turnout gear & air packs, & see first hand how a thermal imaging camera works. While today’s firefighting equipment will be on display, a trip through the museum’s Pioneer Fire Station will give you a taste of the vehicles & equipment of a bygone era. The Door County Historical Museum is open seven days a week, from 10AM to 4:30PM, in downtown Sturgeon Bay.
