Egg Harbor fire fighters were called to fight a fire involving a combine in a farm field off Division Road on Wednesday afternoon. The fire was confined to the farm equipment and no buildings were threatened. Egg Harbor fire fighters were joined with mutual aid from Jacksonport. The combine is owned by Haberli Farms and was working in the field when the blaze broke out. No one was injured and no damage estimate was available, but it appears to have been extensively damaged.
