The arrival of December means many more people are putting up outdoor lighting displays for the holiday season. Sturgeon Bay Fire Chief Tim Herlache says it’s important that electrical cords made for outdoor use are used for the Christmas displays. Herlache says there’s no doubt that indoor & outdoor displays make the holiday season more festive, but it’s important to insure that they are properly installed in order to avoid causing a fire.
