Another candidate has announced his intention to run for the Republican nomination for 1st District Assemblyman. Doctor Paul Feit, owner of Dentistry by Design in Sturgeon Bay & Sister Bay, will seek the position that will open with the retirement of Garey Bies. Born & raised near Wausau, Doctor Feit currently lives in the Town of Gardner. Besides his dental practice, he runs a 40-acre cash cropping operation near his home. He is affiliated with Ministry Door County Medical Center where he participates in treating dental patients by assisting in clinical administration, taking dental referrals from the emergency department, & treating handicapped patients under general anesthesia. Doctor Feit is an active member of the Wisconsin Dental Association, serves on two of its committees, & is a trustee on the WDA board. Thousands of people in Brown, Door & Kewaunee Counties have been helped through his participation in Ministry’s dental clinic in Sturgeon Bay, WDA’s mission of mercy, the Oral Health Partnership in Green Bay, & donating care in his practice. Doctor Feit & his family are members of Sturgeon Bay Moravian Church where he is a trustee on the board. He is also a member of the Fish, Farm & Game Club. Doctor Feit & his wife, Jillian, have been married for 14 years and have a son & daughter. Two other Republicans & a Democrat have announced they will also run.
