A 44 year old Denmark woman is dead, after a two vehicle crash in the Town of Luxemburg Monday afternoon. A car driven by Sara E. Malay of Denmark was southbound on County H & failed to stop for the stop sign at the intersection with County K. Her vehicle was struck by an eastbound vehicle on County K, driven by 47 year old Darryl L. Hill of Wausau. Malay was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, Hill & his passenger, 45 year old Callie S. Trout of Lawton, Wisconsin, were taken to a Green Bay hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The accident remains under investigation by the Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department. Responding at the scene were the Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department, Luxemburg Fire, Luxemburg Rescue, & Algoma Rescue. The Wisconsin State Patrol assisted with accident reconstruction.
