The Door County Sheriff’s Department is gearing up for the 5th annual Emergency Vehicle Fun Day set for Sunday, May 4th, at the Cherryland Airport near Sturgeon Bay. The free event drew hundreds of visitors in 2013 & the hope is that even more folks will take advantage this year. Neuville says older kids can take the opportunity to meet the many professionals on site & inquire about a potential career in their field of expertise. The event, which is free, runs from 11AM to 3PM on May 4th. Sonny’s Pizzeria & Marchant’s Meats of Sturgeon Bay will also be on hand selling food & drinks. The 5th annual Emergency Vehicle Fun Day promises to be a great time for the whole family.
