Electric Vehicle Charging Station Opens at Door County Welcome Center

The Door County Visitor Bureau unveiled two electric vehicle charging stations Wednesday morning at the Door County Welcome Center on Green Bay Road in Sturgeon Bay. As electric vehicle usage grows, Door County plans to be a leader, not a follower in that technology. The electric vehicle charging stations will not only open a new niche market of tourists who embrace eco-tourism, but they will also help eradicate fossil fuel emissions.
