The Sturgeon Bay Police Department says it will continue to make drug sweeps through the high school until it is determined to be drug free. An 18 year-old man was arrested at the school last week after officers, with the help of the state patrol’s K-9 unit, checked out the high school parking lot. The dog stopped at one vehicle were drugs and drug paraphernalia were recovered after it was searched. The local man was arrested and taken to the county jail for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. It’s the second time that officers did a drug sweep at the school within the past few months. At that time, another man was arrested for drug possession.
