A jingle created by two young ladies from Sturgeon Bay was selected to be used on on-air advertising for the Door County Fair as part of its second annual jingle contest. Students from Door County schools were invited to participate in the competition which which was held Saturday at the Birch Creek Music Performance Center near Egg Harbor. Jingles were judged on clarity, creativity, musical talent & marketability. Judging was done by Christine Salmon, Megan Lundahl & Chris Milton. They selected Lexi Pelizzer & Emilie Jones as the 2014 jingle writers. Lexi & Emilie won $100 & week-long passes to the Door County Fair which will be held July 30th through August 3rd.
