The Door Community Auditorium in Fish Creek will present a series of events this winter, designed to stimulate the mind, heart & funny bone. there will be lectures, film screenings & local favorite, Door County Idol.
There are three main stage presentations. On Wednesday, December 28th, Steve March Tormé, son of the legendary Mel Tormé will wow the audience with his delivery of jazz standards, broadway favorites & originals. On February 4th, the auditorium partners with the Peninsula Players & Fish Creek Winterfest to present “Baby Wants Candy”, an entirely improvised & hysterical 60 minute musical. Then, on February 11th, there will be the Door County Idol competition.
The coffeehouse concert series is launched on January 14th with a series of performances.
The Saint Norbert distinguished lecture series will also continue at the auditorium, & finally, on most Fridays in January & February there will be free movie showings.
