Donations will fund a $41,000 project, part of a plan to upgrade the Egg Harbor village beach area, next year. The village board approved part of the plan to develop a beach front terraced area that includes a stairway to the beach & slides between the terrace & the water this week. The village acquired the parcel from Robert Troup in 2007. Earlier work has included the removal of a cottage & improvements along the property’s shoreline. The architectural firm of McMahon & Associates is working with the village on implementing the project plan.
