DCEDC Has a New Executive Director

Steve Jenkins has been selected as the new Executive Director of the Door County Economic Development Corporation. The board of directors selected Jenkins after an extensive search. Jenkins will replace Jim Schuessler, who resigned in December. Jenkins has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, he is a Certified Economic Developer, and also served as a Captain of the Transportation Corps for the U.S. Army Reserve. His background includes positions as a consultant to ThriveED, a two-county economic development corporation serving Jefferson & Dodge Counties, and time with the economic development corporation in Fond du Lac. Jenkins first day with the Door County Economic Development Corporation will be March 2nd.
