DCEDC a Key Cog in Local Economy

If you live in Door County, you’ve probably driven by the offices of the Door County Economic Development Corporation in Sturgeon Bay. You may be aware that the organization is involved in spurring business development. However, there are some who may not know the vital role the economic development corporation plays in the business life of the county. The organization’s multifaceted list of responsibilities includes everything from providing advice for the city & county with regard to their revolving loan funds to obtaining grant funding to helping developers establish affordable housing. The Door County Economic Development Corporation marks its 25th anniversary in 2014. Bill Chaudoir has been its director since the beginning.
