The Door Community Auditorium has just announced its 2021/2022 30th Anniversary Main Stage performance schedule. After a season that was curtailed by the COVID pandemic, the DCA Board and staff are excited to return to in-person shows. Executive Director Cari Lewis comments, “We think it’s time, and we’ve put a great deal of preparation and care into doing it safely.” The auditorium’s HVAC system has been upgraded, and masks will be required for all patrons until further notice. They will begin operating at 25% capacity with a plan to expand to 60% capacity starting August 8th. This season’s line-up contains many shows that were originally planned for 2020, as well as some that are new bookings as well. The 2021 season will kick off with Door County blues outfit Mighty Mouth on June 25th. Other shows lined up include Mavis Staples, Old Crow Medicine Show, the Four Tops, the Wailers, Marty Stuart, comedian Paula Poundstone, and many more. The auditorim also hosts a variety of community events throughout the season. Tickets go on sale to the general public June 15th, with special ticket pre-sales for DCA VIP’s beginning June 8th.
