Here’s an opportunity to have that dusty old family heirloom appraised, while helping maintain a bit of history at Crossroads at Big Creek in Sturgeon Bay. The Door County Historical Society is sponsoring an antique & collectible appraisal event at the Collins Learning Center Sunday afternoon. From 1:30PM to 4:30PM, participants will get a taste of what it is like to be on programs like “Antiques Road Show.” Author Mark Moran will appraise antiques that are pre-registered for the event. A $15 fee is required. If you just want to watch the fun, a $3 admission can be purchased at the door. Proceeds from the program will be used for long term maintenance for the Door County Historical Society’s village at the Crossroads.
