A court date of March 5th at 10AM was set for a Sturgeon Bay woman accused of supplying a drug that led to the death of a 49 year old city man last October. Andrea Esther waived her right to a preliminary hearing in Door county circuit court Monday. Esther remains free on $2,000 cash bond. According to the court complaint filed last Thursday, Esther gave Demetrias “Demo” Moya a 40 milligram dose of the drug oxymorphone, which he ground up & snorted on October 14th. The next day, city police found him dead in his apartment. A medical examiner indicated that the drug rose to lethal levels when Moya snorted it. An autopsy also revealed that he had high levels of alcohol & trace elements of marijuana in his system. Esther is charged with first degree reckless homicide. The case is being heard by Judge Peter Diltz.
