A special community meeting & open house, intended to provide a forum for community members interested in public space design concepts for Sturgeon Bay’s west side redevelopment area, is set for Wednesday, October 2nd, at the Sawyer Park Pavilion. The event, which is expected to run from 5:30 to 7PM, will focus on public areas contained on the property. Rather than elements of a possible private development, the meeting & open house will consider such things as walkways, a festival dock & fishing areas. Representatives of the city’s consultant, Vandewalle & Associates, will discuss the west side waterfront public space design concepts at 5:30PM. Following the presentation, the design concept drawings will be on display & the consultants will be available to answer questions & gather feedback.
