Community Cancer Shirts Fund Drive a Big Success

The culmination of a fundraising effort to help people whose lives have been touched by cancer played out during the meeting of the Sturgeon Bay City Council Tuesday evening. Assistant Fire Chief Tim Dietman, who along with Paula Reichel came up with the “Community Cancer Shirts” fund drive, paid tribute to the many people & organizations that made the fundraiser a big success…[audio:http://wdor.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/N1811.mp3|titles=Assistant Fire Chief Tim Dietman]
Dietman said the funds would be donated to the Go Bo Foundation, the Door County Cancer Center, & Door Cancer, Incorporated. The ceremony ended with the taking of a group picture involving all of those who worked on the fund drive, the city council & city staff members.
