Committee to Evaluate County Administrator

The administrative services committee of the Door County board has scheduled a closed door session to consider “specific personnel problems involving and/or the investigation of charges against county administrator Michael Serpe”, Friday afternoon at 1PM. The closed door session will also consider “performance evaluation data of the county administrator”, that is, evaluating whether or not his conduct of county administration is satisfactory. In addition, the agenda notes that the eight person committee could return to open session to take action on the closed session matters. The open session will also include a discussion on whether or not an elected official’s conduct has been contrary to Door County’s ethical principles & rises to the level of censure or reprimand. The agenda notes that only members of the administrative services committee will be allowed to attend the closed portion of the meeting. That committee is made up of supervisors Dan Austad, Chuck Brann, Ken Fisher, Cletus Fontaine, David Leinau, John Neinas, Richard Virlee & Leo Zipperer.
