The annual Christmas By The Bay celebration kicks off Friday night with the annual holiday tree lighting ceremony. The tree near the clock tower in downtown Sturgeon Bay will be the focus of a lot of attention & energy as the lights are lit at 7PM. Randi Fay will get things rolling with her special kind of songs for all ages. Hay wagon rides are also planned between 6PM & 8PM, kids can mail letters to Santa & shops will be all decked out for the holiday season with a multitude of gift ideas & extended hours. It’s all part of Sturgeon Bay’s Christmas By The Bay celebration this weekend sponsored by the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center.
Saturday’s activities include the parade at 10AM, Randy Peterson performs from 11AM to noon across from the historical museum, Santa is at the museum from 11AM to 3PM,horse drawn wagon rides from noon to 5PM, & the holiday sing along from 3:30PM to 5PM at the Whitelace Inn.
As part of the Christmas By The Bay celebration, Santa Claus has agreed to sit down with youngsters & their families at a breakfast buffet at the Stone Harbor Resort in Sturgeon Bay.
