Chop & Shop With a Cop a Big Success

Over the years, the Door County Sheriff’s Department has engaged in a number of outreach programs to bring residents of all ages in contact with officers in a positive setting. The recent “coffee with a cop” program in Sturgeon Bay is a good example. Another program which has been helping kids in Door County for more than a decade came & went quietly last weekend. Chop & shop with a cop, helped 30 kids have a happier Christmas season by teaming them up with law enforcement officers.
