There was a chimney fire near Carlsville Monday morning. Just before 8AM, the call came from the Country View Farms property on North Country View Road, a short distance south of County Road I. Egg Harbor Fire Chief Justin MacDonald reports that it was indeed a chimney fire just off of the milking parlor. A call for auto-aid went out to the fire departments of Jacksonport and Sturgeon Bay, but they were soon called off once the situation was declared under control. The structure was then deemed safe and all vehicle were able to clear the scene by 9:10AM, and there were no injuries in the response.
