The Door County Parks Department says the new boat launch ramp at Chaudoir’s Dock County Park, at the end of County N, in the town of Union, is open. County Parks Director George Pinney, says the project started on July 5th, was undertaken because the old ramp was too short at today’s water levels. Pinney says the launch docks were also repositioned to provide easier & safer launch activity. He says the project completes the first of three phases of rehab work proposed for Chaudoir’s Dock. The project was funded by the Wisconsin Waterways Commission & local boat launch fees.
