A burglar with a penchant for kicking in doors is at work on Washington Island. Investigations have been launched into at least four reports of break ins in late March. In three cases, the intruder kicked or pushed in doors to gain entry to seasonal homes off of Lakeview Road. The individual reports did not indicate if anything was missing, but it is anticipated that an inventory will be taken when the owners return to the island. It was noted that some materials were found at more than one location & some of the evidence has been sent to the state crime lab.
