Brush Collection in Sturgeon Bay

The annual city wide brush collection began Monday in Sturgeon Bay. Brush will need to be placed at the curb & only one pass by street department crews will be made through neighborhoods in the city. Brush must be cut into six foot lengths or less & placed parallel to the curb. Sidewalk access should not be blocked when putting the brush out for collection. It should also be noted that the city no longer collects leaves & grass clippings during the spring. Residents may bring leaves, grass clippings, stones & other garden waste for disposal to the compost site off Division Road seven days a week. Anyone with questions should contact the Sturgeon Bay public works department at (920)-746-2912.
