It appears that a 35-year old Brown County man, arrested in Waupaca County early Sunday morning, has been implicated in a series of recent burglaries to garages in northeast Wisconsin, including southern Door County. Investigators from several area law enforcement agencies have been able to link the suspect to break-ins in their jurisdictions. Search warrants are being obtained to locate & retrieve stolen merchandise. The suspect is from the Green Bay area & is being held in the Waupaca County jail. The investigation is continuing. The Door County Sheriff’s Department is urging residents to check garages & report any missing items immediately. Law enforcement also asks homeowners to remain vigilant & report any suspicious vehicles that are observed in their neighborhood.
