Bridge inspections will close down each of the bridges in Sturgeon Bay for part of a day next week. The Department of Transportation says the first inspection will involve the complete closure of the Maple to Oregon Street Bridge Monday from 8AM to 3PM. On Tuesday, the Michigan Street Bridge will be closed to traffic from 8AM to 3PM & on Wednesday, July 10th, it will be the Bayview Bridges’ turn from 8AM to 3PM. Only one lane on the bridge will be closed & flaggers will be on hand to move traffic along. In each case, the inspections could be completed earlier. DOT crews are expected to be working on the bridge house & sidewalks nearby.
