Arrests Made After Death From Heroin Overdose

The Door County Sheriff’s Department has arrested two men & a woman in connection with the death of a 39-year old northern Door County man last month. On April 9th, deputies were dispatched to a residence in the Town of Sevastopol where they found the body of Gregory Broeckel. It was determined that the county man died as a result of a heroin overdose. The Door County SWAT team executed a search warrant at a home in the Town of Egg Harbor & recovered drugs at the scene. One man was taken into custody. As a result of the investigation, 33-year old Alvin McFeeley of the Town of Egg Harbor, 27-year old Tierra Oehring of Sturgeon Bay & 37-year old Christopher Anderson of Green Bay were taken into custody on citations related to first degree reckless homicide in the death of Gregory Broeckel. Investigators from the Door/Kewaunee Drug Task Force, police in Door, Kewaunee & Brown County & the City of Sturgeon Bay & the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation are continuing their investigation into the drug-related death. Additional arrests are expected.
