The Sturgeon Bay Police Department is reporting that multiple suspects were arrested in connection with an alleged assault at an east side residence early Friday morning. Investigating officers determined that 10 to 15 individuals, some wearing masks & armed with weapons, assaulted two men at a nearby residence. Both men sustained injuries & were treated at the Sturgeon Bay medical center. The individuals taken into custody were booked & incarcerated at the Door County jail. As the investigation continues, further arrests are possible. The police story noted that there was no danger to the community.
