The Algoma Police Department is investigating the robbery of the Aurora Pharmacy on Jefferson Street in Algoma last week. Police received the alarm early August 11th, upon arrival, officers observed the glass door to the pharmacy was broken. Numerous prescription medications were stolen. a short time later the Luxemburg Pharmacy was also burglarized. A suspect has been identified & remains under investigation, but the Algoma Police Department is asking the public to contact them if anyone has information or saw or heard anything suspicious in the area.
