Representatives of the Southern Door School District, the Door County Sheriff’s Department & emergency services will come together on Tuesday(8/6) for a tabletop exercise simulating a possible shooting scenario at the school between Sturgeon Bay & Brussels. Door County Emergency Services Director Eric Christiansen says the group will be joined by personnel from the state’s office of emergency management for the exercise at the Justice Center in Sturgeon Bay. The two to three hour tabletop exercise will also include time for discussion once the drill has been completed. Christiansen says later, an evaluation will be available for all stakeholders to share.
